Cocos nucifera - 6"

Coconut palm.  A large, single-trunked perennial palm that frequently grows with a graceful, leaning curve and a swollen root base.  Yes, these are coconut trees that produce the delicious fruit.  But as a houseplant, they will require full sun and high humidity to thrive.  Best kept outside during summer months and indoor if temperature drops into 60s.

• Soil: fast draining mix
• Water: keep slightly moist
• Fertilizer: slow release
